Welcome to the GILAS-USA website!
This is the online home of the USA-based volunteers for GILAS, short for Gearing Up Internet Literacy & Access for Students.

GILAS is an exciting project spearheaded by the Ayala Foundation, with the cooperation of major companies including IBM, Intel, Microsoft and leading Philippine corporations such as Globe Telecom, PLDT and others. Its aim is simple:

To connect all Philippine public high schools to the Internet within 5 years

If you’re interested in volunteering for GILAS and would like more information, feel free to browse through the website.
