GILAS, a multi-sectoral initiative led by the Ayala Foundation, gives Filipino youth a brighter future. GILAS advances Philippine education through providing PCs, internet connectivity, and IT training to teachers and students in 6,000+ Philippine public high schools. As an end-of-year Gift, the GILAS New York Tri-State Team is raising $6,500 to provide 1 computer lab, 1-year Internet connectivity, and teacher training for a Philippine public high-school in the town of Asingan which resides in the province of Pangasinan.
